Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Peter LeBourdais
Dr. Peter C. LeBourdais was born in Brunswick, Maine. He attended Cheverus High School in Portland, Maine, and he received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. LeBourdais graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, and he trained in a residency program at the Togus VA hospital. He has been in private practice in Brunswick since 1976.
Dr. LeBourdais is involved in many professional and non-profit organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Merrymeeting Bay Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, the American Academy of Aesthetic Dentists, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Currently, he is on the board of directors of the Maine Rowing Association, The Friends of Casco Bay, and the Massasecum Timber Corporation. He is a dedicated husband and father of three.
Dr. Ivan Soberanes
Dr. Ivan Soberanes, DMD, was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended college at the University of California, Davis where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. He then received his D.M.D at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, California. Dr. Soberanes is currently a member of the Maine Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Soberanes was practicing in Topsham prior to joining our team.
He enjoys the outdoors when weather permits and is part of the Portland Rugby Club. Dr. Soberanes is fluent in both Spanish and English. He has a passion for dentistry and tries to give back to the community by volunteering in dental service trips in countries that have very limited access to dental care.
